WWA's mission is to develop internationally consistent and recognised guidelines which will enable the web community to continuously nurture growth and development of the World Wide Web. |
Web 2.0 is a term describing the trend in the use of World Wide Web technology and web design that aims to enhance creativity, information sharing, and, most notably, collaboration among users. These concepts have led to the development and evolution of web-based communities and hosted services, such as social-networking sites, wikis, blogs, and folksonomies. |
WWA membership is open to any individual/organisation who will contribute to the development, integrity, and the advancement of the web community and the objectives of the WWA.
The World Webmasters Alliance (WWA) will provide a platform for the web community to raise the level of excellence of their fields, and set professional standards and guidelines for the industry. |
